In the summer of 2021, FrutoNyanya will replace pink plastic bottles for baby water with transparent ones. Rejecting coloured plastic is a sustainability milestone for PROGRESS producing the FrutoNyanya brand.
“Our consumers are conscious modern parents who are increasingly thinking about environment and the future of their children. Supporting them, we want to make a contribution that will help moms and dads worry less about waste. For baby water, FrutoNyanya will use the bottles made of transparent plastic, which can be easily recycled in the relevant centers,” Natalia Medunova, Chief Executive Officer of PROGRESS, commented.
The 1.5L bottles will be retailed in transparent bottles starting from July 2021. The 5L format will follow in August.
Transparent plastic PET 1 or PETE 1 (polyethylene terephthalate) is the most common format for drinking water in Russia and globally. Also, it is the safest type of plastic that goes through several recycling stages and can be reused.
