In addition to 18 children, the list of authors includes Konstantin Khabensky, the founder and Artistic Director of the Foundation, Sergei Burunov, Alexander Petrov, Maxim Sukhanov, Sergei Garmash and Renata Litvinova, all actors, Katerina Gordeeva, a journalist, as well as such writers as Alexander Tsypkin, Lyudmila Ulitskaya, Zhukova Zhukova, Sergei Lukyanenko, Denis Dragunsky and others. Both the Foundation founder and many actors had their writing debut with this book.
The book will be available in the offline bookstores and online platforms.
“The school period is one of the most exciting times of our life. Thinking of school, we all have different emotions – while some are nostalgic and want to get back in time, the others are glad that school will never return to their live. The children and young adults with brain tumors that we care about do not always have a chance to truly feel this time. Sometimes fighting against the disease makes them lose communication with their classmates, kind teachers, games during the breaks, school performances and even the proms.
This book is a kind of a school album bringing together the stories of our children and memories of our friends. Having read it through, you will talk to every author getting to know them a little bit better,” Konstantin Khabensky, Project Artistic Director, commented.
“Children are the ones we think about when we create new products. Children are the ones whose health has the utmost importance to us. That is why we again decided to join the project by the Khabensky Foundation, which helps us believe in miracles and do a little bit of magic,” Natalia Medunova, CEO at PROGRESS producing the FrutoNyanya brand, noted.
“We hope that publishing An Extraordinary Ordinary Miracle as an annual themed collection before the Christmas time will become a good tradition and will draw even more attention to the Khabensky Foundation and charity in general,” the Astrel SPb team (AST Publishers) said.
