From October 2021 to April 2022, FrutoNyanya will donate part of the proceeds from the sale of 6 SKUs with the Gift of Life logo on the pack to help children with oncological and severe hematological diseases. With the money raised by FrutoNyanya, the Gift of Life will buy medicines and fund the research the young patients need to undergo a bone marrow transplant.
“In 2020, PROGRESS launched the first big campaign to support the Gift of Life foundation. Thanks to our highly engaged audience, we donated 9 million rubles to diagnose childhood oncological diseases and over 3 million rubles to make sure children are looked after by babysitters in the hospitals. We have no doubt that this year our initiative will again resonate with our consumers. Together we can do something good and give children a hope for recovery,” Natalia Medunova, CEO of PROGRESS producing the FrutoNyanya brand, commented on the project. With the funds raised last year, the experts made almost 3,000 tests, crystallized the diagnoses, selected the right approach to treatment and provided children with a comfortable stay in the hospitals.
“Many of the children we take care of suffer oncological and severe blood diseases and need a bone marrow transplant. For them, this is a real chance to have a normal adult life. But, among other things, a bone marrow transplant is a serious medical procedure that requires a preparation that lasts for several weeks and sometimes for several months. As patients undergo a lot of research to get ready for such a complex operation, they need very expensive and modern medicines. In addition, the transplant is followed by a long and difficult period of recovery when every child needs an expensive and tailored therapy. By buying FrutoNyanya as part of an everyday routine everyone can help doctors save children's lives,” Ekaterina Shergova, Director of the Gift of Life foundation, said.
On the campaign website, moms and dads can find out more about the children they helped, get more details on the foundation and ways to support it as well as read the articles about various aspects of charity.
