With the participation of FrutoNyanya, the Russian Association of Pediatricians has published an encyclopedia for parents edited by L. Namazova-Baranova, President of the Russian Association of Pediatricians & Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
The book compiles recommendations of the leading national practitioners and scientists on preparation for parenting, childhood diseases and treatment, care and nutrition of children from birth to 18 years.
One chapter is devoted to the myths of industrial baby food describing the most common parental fears and barriers in choosing the first follow-on products, how the baby food is manufactured, how the raw materials are selected and checked and why experts recommend giving preference to the ready-made baby food, rather than making it at home.
“The book was written by the best experts in our country – pediatricians, psychologists, teachers, lawyers, sociologists and other specialists working with children. Perhaps, Russia has no equivalent analogues of this book. We tried to make it both insightful and simple as we know how to unlock the potential of “proper parenting” and appreciate the desire of all moms and dads to forge their families with the right parenting principles,” L. Namazova-Baranova commented.
“This book resonates with our concept of “happy parenting”. As the leading baby food producer, we were pleased to contribute to an encyclopedia for parents as we know how important it is to lay a healthy foundation from a very young age,” Natalia Medunova, CEO of PROGRESS producing baby food under the FrutoNyanya brand, said.
The Encyclopedia for Parents will be distributed free of charge in a number of Russian maternity hospitals. A hard copy is available on the website of the Pediatr publishing house (link). LitRes offers the book in an electronic format.
