In the year of its 35th anniversary, the baby food manufacturer PROGRESS JSC was awarded in the IV All-Russian competition "Leader of Corporate Donation" organized by the Russian Red Cross. The company participated in the nomination "The most interesting story of a donor - an employee of the organization." The award ceremony was held on November 12 in the IRRI space.
"Receiving this award is very important for our team. People make the company, so the story of the donor, Galina Varlamova, should have been a special motivation for everyone: Galina Borisovna donated blood more than 100 times and her services to society are the most important incentive in increasing social responsibility for everyone. We are proud that our employees are actively involved in the donor movement, helping to save lives," said Elena Masko, Head of External Communications at PROGRESS JSC.
The Russian Red Cross provides humanitarian and social support to vulnerable populations, including those affected by emergencies, and implements various medical and social programs, such as first aid training and donation support. The Corporate Donation Leader Competition is part of a large-scale initiative of the organization aimed at creating a culture of regular blood donation and its components. Its purpose is to draw attention to donation as an important social practice, to involve labor collectives, students and public organizations in the donor movement, as well as to identify and promote the best corporate initiatives.
For PROGRESS JSC, receiving such a high award was a confirmation of commitment to the principles of social responsibility. The organization has been supporting initiatives aimed at improving the health of citizens and developing a corporate culture of donation for many years. Winning the competition was another proof that caring for people and society remains one of the key values of the organization. All these years, the company has not only maintained its leadership position in the production of baby food, but also continues to actively participate in the social life of the country, supporting initiatives aimed at improving the quality of life and health of citizens.
