PROGRESS JSC supported the initiative of the Khabensky Charitable Foundation to hold an on-site rehabilitation program for 16 families facing brain tumors in children. From January 4 to 11, 2026, an 8-day program based on the novel "The Chronicles of Narnia" was held for 16 families.
The main goal of the event was to provide psychological and pedagogical rehabilitation for participants through creative workshops, group classes, and family activities, which helped participants reduce anxiety, build trust, and experience positive emotions. Comprehensive recovery allows participants to overcome the effects of illness, regain independence, and return to their normal lives.
"Family out-of-home rehabilitation programs are more than just a change of scenery and a family vacation. It's a time when families can step out of their daily routines and spend quality time together. These programs are led by experienced professionals, ensuring that there are always people available to provide support, answer questions, and help families navigate challenges. The programs foster an atmosphere of acceptance and trust. Joint classes, trainings, workshops, and meetings help participants to better understand each other, learn to listen, negotiate, and support each other, thereby harmonizing parent-child relationships," said Anna Maisner, Project Manager for Socialization at the Khabensky Foundation.
Since 2008, the Khabensky Charitable Foundation has been providing comprehensive support to children and young adults with brain and spinal cord tumors. Assistance is provided at all stages: from diagnosis to recovery.
"Cooperation with leading charitable organizations such as the Khabensky Foundation allows us to make a real contribution to the restoration of health, psychological support and socialization of those who need it. The company aims to create conditions for a fulfilling life by supporting projects that help people gain confidence in the future," added Elena Masko, Head of External Communications at PROGRESS JSC.
