On June 23, PROGRESS JSC supported the “Football in the Heart” sports festival. The event was held in Lipetsk at the Metallurg Stadium for the fourth time.
The main event of the festival was a charity match, in which famous Russian football players, as well as sponsors of the project took part. Among the players was an employee of the PROGRESS plant, Andrey, a level 3 line operator, who proved himself in the position of goalkeeper. The game turned out to be intense and full of memorable moments. The final result was a draw with a score of 6:6.
“PROGRESS JSC has been supporting “Football in the Heart” for several years now. The kind, family-friendly format of the event brings together athletes and helps develop the “Inclusive Team of the Lipetsk Region” project. Of course, we are glad to be part of this event both as a company and as participants on the field. Thank you to everyone who came to support the players and watch the game,” said Olga Krasnikova, Director of the PROGRESS JSC plant.
All funds raised from ticket sales will go to the development of inclusive sports within the framework of the association’s “More Than Good” project “Inclusive Team of the Lipetsk Region in Adaptive Sports for People with Mental Disabilities.”
Thanks to the Inclusive Football project, children with autism and Down syndrome can plunge into the world of ordinary childhood, communicate with their peers, and dream of sporting achievements.
