On Friday, Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich and Minister of Agriculture Alexander Tkachev inspected the new products of PROGRESS JSC in Lipetsk (the manufacturer of baby food, juices and mineral water), as reported by an Interfax correspondent.
The guests were shown the new Tetra pack line, a juice production workshop, as well as a dairy plant, in which the company invested over 30 million euros.
During his visit to the enterprise, A. Tkachev noted the high level of production not only of PROGRESS, but also of the agro-industrial complex of the Lipetsk region as a whole. In his opinion, the experience of the Lipetsk enterprises should be transferred to other industries in the industry on a national scale.
"The region is developing rapidly, bringing the agricultural sector to a qualitatively new level. It is a territory of successful growth and long-term development, which along with the Belgorod region is a leader in Central Russia," said the minister.
O. Korolev added: "We, together with our partners and investors, are trying to meet the challenges of the time, especially tougher competition, while we are developing the agro-industrial complex not only as a sector of the economy, but also as a way of life."
The guests tasted the products of the enterprise and highly appreciated its quality and rich assortment.
